Gone too soon🙏🏾💯
❤😂🎉 Blessing. Rest in Paradise.
This song every word it's got powerful words
Did he record before or after Elvis??
❤👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I cry everytime I hear this song. He is singing about his woman at the time but I relate it to when I had custody of my only son and lost custody. I have never been the same since that happened. Best years of my life were spent with my son when he was young. We had it all…

My fathers brother Abuti Lebusa would play his LP on one beautiful Saturday in the farm we were staying in 1982, 1983, 1984 etc, our neighbors would come to our house and dance. Good old song and good old music
Its good if you have an lovely angel of God
Why can't you accept or appreciate what Dan Warlick said i/o trying to find some reasoning behind? Why is it so hard to accept that Elvis was just a human being like all of us. We all have our health issues and concerns, it was not different with Elvis. I lost friends and relatives even at a younger age. That is life. Elvis was not tall at all. When you look at his clothes on display - you can easily see that he was not tall . He indeed was wearing special shoes to look taller (up to 6 inches I read). 5 ft 10 and 205 pounds was still too much. His face and body often looked swollen but does not always mean that he increased in weight. I grew up and enjoyed his music a lot and he was great.

Total perplexing on why Dobie didn’t have greater success. What a voice.
Somewhere on Rocket's Zune...
What year is this interview?
This is my favorite Dobie Gray song. RIP Dobie. You were the best!
I think this is a beautiful song ,& Dobie's rendition is the best of all.
Joe Esposito was the foreman for the most part. Marty didn’t do much of anything

May his soul rest in peace😢

That was really good old days my man woow
Why doesn't Marty have the prominent southern drawl he had later on life here?? He sounds here more like his history- grew up in NY before HS.
So underrated. One of the best to ever do it ❤❤❤
Great version.
Love igttttt!
Going through a divorce after 37 years he's decided that he wants to end it😢😢 and this song truly hits home and hits HARD!!!!
I'm sorry to hear that. But, as the song says, "When the time is right, you will dance on the highest hill in the night".
🎉I lost my partner 6years ago, we were planning to get married but God called him back home. This song comforts me 'you & me God knows we had it all, hey it was so good & it was so good & it was so good when he was my man'. I sorely miss him may his dear soul rest in eternal peace. Mr Dobbie Gray pls continue to rest in peace thanks for your music & your magic voice its so soothing😢❤😪😭🌹🇿🇦💫
Great video, thank you for all the great info about Elvis
This is an exceptionally beautiful and meaningful song. The father of my child played it for me in 1973 on the telephone after I had left. He didn't say anything. I answered the phone and the music came on.
Wow, that's powerful.
I like the vhs quality. The nostalgia
This if my favorite version of this beautiful song! Rest in peace, Dobie. Thank you for blessing us with your great songs!
